Rally Detail

At the Rally:

The Rally weekend will be centered around the host hotel with the addition of:
Bike games;
2 Poker runs;
Pig Roast; and,
the opportunity for you to collect script money for some very interesting prizes.

In the Area:

Lander: located at the base of the Wind River Mountains some 5,300 feet above sea level. Centrally located, Lander, Wyoming is the southern gateway to the Shoshone National Forest and Wind River Mountains and awe-inspiring Red Desert.

South Pass City: located in a small valley along the banks of Willow Creek on the southeastern end of the Wind River Mountains. A short two mile drive down a well maintained gravel road off of Highway 28 south of Lander takes you into Wyoming’s only restored gold-mining town.

The Shoshone National Forest: set aside in 1891 as part of the Yellowstone Timberland Reserve, making the Shoshone the first national forest in the United States.

Wind River Indian Reservation: located between the scenic Wind River Range and Owl Creek Mountains, the 2.2 million acre reserve is shared by 3,500 Eastern Shoshone and 7,000 Northern Arapaho.

Thermopolis (Poker Run stop): small picturesque Western town where the altitude is higher than the population (altitude 4500, population 3200), and is renowned for its World’s Largest Mineral Hot Spring and beautiful surroundings.
